They’re Back

We’ve previously mentioned we are celebrating Maurizio Corbi, long-time designer with Pininfarina and also a renowned artist, and the President of MAUTO (National Car Museum in Turin), Benedetto Camerana, and Director of MAUTO, Mariella Mengozzi. But in addition to these three esteemed guests, the one and only Adolfo Orsi is coming to join us once again. Yes, the Italians are back after a two-year absence.

Adolfo is an expert automotive historian and the publisher of the famous Classic Car Auction Yearbook introduced each year at Auto e Moto d’Epoca in Padua Italy. He will join us to present The Doug Magnon Award. Doug was a friend to all, and most certainly to Adolfo. We are honored to have Adolfo join us to both honor Doug Magnon and all that he stood for, and to present the award to a most worthy winner. It will be a treat to hear Adolfo share some of his insights.

We also highly recommend that you consider attending Auto e Moto D’Epoca in Padua (near Venice). It will be held in October from the 20^th through the 23^rd. The event is a treat for the eyes, and being able to see Adolfo present the year’s auction results and trends provides some wonderful insights into the direction of the collector car hobby. Everyone should attend at least once.
