Governor Newsom Opens California

With a tinge of envy, up here in the sunny and warm Pacific Northwest we read that California Governor Newsom has approved the resumption of all normal activities, with normal capacities for his state.  We very much look forward to coming to the Monterey Peninsula to once again revel in the hobby that we’ve been longing to see for almost two years.

Concorso Italiano will still be taking reasonable covid precautions, for our guests, and know that we will be proceeding as much as “back to normal” as possible.  Expect hand sanitizers, disposables vs. reusable, server handling utensils in the CI Club and Al Fresco lunches, as we work with the Monterey County Health department to be as safe as practical.   We encourage people to be vaccinated so we may all proceed together past this challenged time.

Bring your favorite car and join the thousands of enthusiasts who convene this August for Car Week.  Concorso has several celebrations, special guests, and always a few surprises.  We have a 100th anniversary, some 50th anniversaries, even a 31st anniversary, and we promise some very special information, previously untold, about the Lamborghini Diablo.  And let’s not forget the annual Sports Car Market Alfa Romeo celebration honoring he Giulietta Sprints, the historic 2000, the 2600 and the Montreal.   Register your Italian car here.  If you would like to participate with the Global Exotics, register here.  Italian motorcycles are always an embodiment of Italian style.  Register your motorcycle here.

General Admission tickets are available.  If you seek that special VIP experience register here for the CI Club.   And the always popular Al Fresco Lunch hosted by Grundy.  We look forward to gathering for another convivial day amongst Italy’s finest, and the enthusiasts who keep the passion alive.
